InformationTitleAdjust Qty With 7 Digits of On Hand QuantityContentContentWhen a Part’s on‑hand quantity reaches seven digits or more, the system can no longer process changes through the Adjust Qty action. This limitation prevents extremely large quantities from being directly overwritten and ensures inventory integrity. To continue managing the Part’s quantity, the stock must be redistributed into smaller, valid amounts before adjustments can resume. Why the Adjust Qty action stops workingThe Adjust Qty function is designed to handle typical inventory ranges. Once a quantity exceeds six digits, the system blocks further adjustments to avoid data corruption or unintended mass changes. At that point, the Part must be split into multiple Stock Locations, each with an on‑hand quantity below the seven‑digit threshold. How to restore the ability to adjust quantitiesUsers can resolve the issue by using the Action > Move function to divide the total quantity across multiple Stock Locations.• Move a portion of the quantity into a new or existing Stock Location.• Ensure each resulting location holds a quantity under seven digits.• Repeat moves as needed until no single location exceeds the limit. Once all Stock Locations contain acceptable quantities, the Action > Adjust Qty function becomes available again for normal corrections.URL NameAdjust-Qty-With-7-Digits-of-On-Hand-Quantity
