InformationTitleAPI Security Role PermissionsContentContentThe API Security setting is a dropdown in Role setup. This setting will determine the level of API access granted to a user. Although this feature is not yet functional in the current version of MVP One, it will apply to all user roles in future releases. To prepare for upcoming functionality, we recommend updating the API access level for any users who rely on APIs. This ensures they will not lose access once the feature becomes active. API Security Options None: The user has no access to any MVP One APIs. The system will generate an error when attempting to call an endpoint. Reporting Only: The user can access reporting‑related APIs only, allowing them to retrieve reporting data but not interact with other API endpoints. All APIs – Read Only: The user can access all available API endpoints, but they are only able to pull data and not edit existing records or create new records. All APIs – Full Access: The user has full access to all MVP One APIs with no restrictions, allowing them to call all of the available endpoints found in MVP One's API documentation. Recommendation Even though the feature is not yet active, administrators should begin assigning appropriate API Security levels now. This ensures a smooth transition and prevents unexpected access issues when the feature becomes fully enabled in future MVP One versions. URL NameAPI-Security-Role-Permissions
